For your consideration we offer this unique medicine pouch with brass jingle cones and a brass plate on the front. The brass front plate has been hand etched or engraved. This was a family heirloom passed down through several generations before it was brought in to us. The original owner was reported to be Viola Hudson Staggs, from Pope County Arkansas who was a Cherokee Native American, born in 1880 and passed away in 1952. A copy of an old black-and-white photo of Viola and her husband are included. This little bag is quite unique as far a medicine pouches go. Size, width: 3" and length: 15-1/2". Age, circa early to mid-1900s. Please look closely at the pictures - they are an important part of our description. Shipping: There will be a $5 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot.
