Item/Description: Lot of four inkwells includes: P.E. Guerin Brass Double Inkwell, Marble Single Inkwell, Art Nouveau Rococo and a Neoclassical Double Brass Copper Inkwell.
Item/Description: Victorian PE Guerin New York brass desk inkwell with two pots. Features pierced, chasing and repousse work. Base marked P.E. Guerin 504.
Material: Brass
Dimensions: Length: 14 1/2"; Width: 6"; Height: 5 1/2" (base to finial top)
Condition: Signs of use and wear include loose piece, cracks, patina, surface scratches. Left pot is loose with broken base.
Age: Early 20th Century
Item/Description: Cream marble four footed base. Hinged top with removable glass insert , glass well. Three brass floral garland decorations. Beaded decorations. Neoclassical design.

Condition: Good. Inkwell intact. Hinged lid opens and closes smoothly. Glass inserts intact, free of chips. Signs of age, use and surface wear including loosening to front brass garland, oxidation, patina, surface debris, six drill holes around base where a decoration might have been.
Item/Description: Ornate Art Nouveau brass inkwell. Open pierce-work design, organic swirls, floral vines. Center heavy lead clear crystal. No visible signature or hallmarks.

Condition: Very Good. Free of dents, cracks, signs of repair. Glass insert intact, free of chips or cracks. Signs of age, use and surface wear including remnants of polish, scratches, scuffs. All hinges in working condition, open smoothly. Signs of use, age and surface wear including scratches, scuffs, patina, wear to brass finish; one pin protruding from hinge of one inkwell.

All measurements and weights are approximate. It is the bidders responsibility to confirm all description information on their own. We encourage all potential bidders to preview our items in person. 2. Taurus Auctions is not responsible for any omission or errors in the description or a further verbal description given by the auctioneer(s) the day of the auction or by any employee preceding or following the auction.
3.We do our utmost to pack our items with the highest standard of care and protection and only ship with professional and insured shipping services but will not be held responsible for items once they leave our facility. Once payment is received, your order will be added to our shipping queue and will typically ship with-in 3 to 5 business days.
4. Taurus Auctions reserves the right to withdraw lots prior to the commencement of each auction.
5. Estimates published, showing both a high and low end range for each item, are of the opinion of Taurus Auctions as to the fair auction value for each item. Taurus Auctions makes no warranties as to finite value for item(s) sold. You as the bidder decide the final price.
6. While many lots are listed without reserve prices, at times, Taurus Auctions or its consignors may assign minimum selling prices to select lots in each auction. Taurus Auctions may execute bids on the behalf of our consignors due to reserve prices.
7. Taurus Auctions reserves the right to refuse admission to our facility, reject any bid or to refuse to acknowledge certain bidders. The highest bidder, whether in the salesroom, absentee, on the telephone or online will be acknowledged and recorded by the auctioneer.
8. No auction lot can be removed from the gallery until payment has been accepted and cleared. Please see our payment, pickup and shipping section for further details. All items won must be paid for within five (5) days or a dispute will be filed and opened.
9. The purchase price payable by the buyer shall be the sum of the final bid plus a buyer's premium of 25% and any applicable taxes.
10. Taurus Auctions is not responsible for items left at our facility for more than fifteen days. Taurus Auctions may also charge a $100 restocking fee for items cataloged.
11. Purchases are subject to 6.625 % New Jersey State sales tax unless you are a registered dealer or re-seller and exempt from state and local sales tax in which case a completed New Jersey resale certificates must be provided to Taurus Auctions Auctions prior to the time of purchase.
12. Taurus Auctions is not liable for damaged or missing items after they are signed out and removed from the gallery. Taurus Auctions is not responsible for or liable for any lots paid for and not picked up within 14 days of auction date. By departing from the pickup site you, or your agent, acknowledges that you have all your items and that you are satisfied with them. No claims are permitted after removing items from the premises, as condition issues cannot be validated once items are released into your possession. Taurus Auctions is open Sunday through Friday 9AM - 6PM for pick up. Call or email for appointment.
13. In providing your credit card information to pay an invoice, you authorize Taurus Auctions to charge the cost of product and/or service to your credit card either through the payment portal or as indicated on signed, paper authorization form. This payment is for goods/ services won at auction and certifies that you are an authorized user of this credit card and that you will not dispute the payment with your credit card company; so long as the transaction corresponds to the terms indicated. By registering to participate and providing credit card information, you are accepting all the responsibility for the transaction to ensure full payment to the merchant and acknowledging that all sales are final. You will inform Taurus Auctions immediately if use of this card is no longer valid.
14. Taurus Auctions is not responsible for purchasers' on-line bidding errors or mishaps.
