An important museum quality 17th century German Nuremberg Pewter plate cast in relief with the central medallion depicting a rising Christ and inscribed "CHRISTUS IST AVE ER STANTEN VO DON TOTN?. The border is decorated with seven medallions surrounded by foliate scrolls containing the images of six electoral princes of the Holy Roman Empire (Kurfürst) wearing the Mitres on their heads with shields representing their Coat of Arms. On the top an image of the Holy Roman Emperor crowned by the Imperial crown holding in his right hand a sword and in his left hand a sceptre with the armorial shield on the front bearing the double headed Habsburg eagle.

CONDITION: In good condition considering its age, no repairs or restorations.
MEASUREMENTS: Diameter: 18,5 cm (7 ¼ in).
