</font></strong>Here's a German made doll that I'm sure was made for the French Fashion market. It is very early with the pale bisque and wonderful features. She is 22 1/2" tall and has a very turned head. There are no cracks or chips to the shoulderplate. It has a solid dome and closed mouth. The eyebrows are very light and feathered. There are painted upper and lower lashes. There is a darker line painted through the lips and she has the dots in the eyes and the nostrils. The ears are not pierced. She is marked 639 on the one side and H on the other end of the shoulderplate. I was able to pull the leather down to see it. I'm assuming she was made by Alt, Beck & Gottschalck as they have many turned head molds and there numbers are in the 600's. This is just my educated guess. You may know for sure who made her. The body is great and she has material stitched lines to indicate toes. She has a well formed buttock! The fingers are not chipped. There is an old pair of shoes with the buckle missing on one. They are marked 6 on the soles. I guess it could be 9, the circle is large. The shoes have wear but fit her so am leaving them with her as she came with them. She has an old pair of pantaloons and a full slip so they come with her also. She is from a smoke free environment. If you have questions,please feel free to email me. Thanks for viewing.
