Antique Francis Newton Real Premier Knife with leather sheath, approx. 12-1/4” overall with a 7-3/4” clip-point blade, stag scales on grip, flip-out cork screw, a small concealed tweezers and a small concealed pick in the end of one side of the grips and a 2” dirk blade with crown hallmark and 2-1/2” swivel silver “grip” concealed on the other end side of the grips; also a pierced silver plaque on the left scale of the grip with inscription “To Alic Kennedy From Ronald Gower, September 1870”. This knife is in overall good to very good condition showing some old spots of blood etching to the blade, clear maker’s markings on the blade proper (no markings to the ricasso areas) very good scales and pleasing patina to inscribed plaque; the sheath is in overall very good condition with metal tip and throat retained along with leather belt loop; a really nicely accessorized Newton with an inscription that may be researchable. Ex-George Taylor collection. Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
