This Excellent Exquisitely Painted Vase of Campana Form, by the Derby Factory of England, Circa 1810 to 1815, Features an arangement of flowers in the manner in the manner of William Pegg, based on the Vivid color palate, with some of the flowers looking quite disheveled in their deportment, but with obvious intention, since every detail is finely depicted, down th the viens in the leaves, a quality level achieved by very few painters. The basket is placed on a Marble Slab, a common device in Early Derby painted Botanicals. The body of the Vase is in the richest shade of Cobalt Blue, with fine Regency style gilt work of applied, layered and etched gold. A very good and neat Early Mark of the Crown and the crossed battons. In Excellent condition. And offered at a most reasonable price!
