Description: A rare, antique, French Artillery bit with crossed cannons medallions on it. This is the kind used by the Confederate Army during the Civil War. Maker: We could find no hallmarks, but it is pretty rusty. Approx. Age: Circa mid to late 1800s. Size: 7” shank, 5” mouth. Condition: Fair for its age, wear and rust expected. Please look closely at the pictures - they are an important part of our description. Shipping: There will be a $5 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot. The actual cost of postage will be added on top of that.
