Carved celadon sculpture featuring a procession of eight elephants in single file, mounted atop an arch-form lacquered base to showcase elephants crossing the bridge. The elephants are crafted to imitate the appearance of jade, with variegated amber and brown coloration suggesting the texture and translucency of stone. Each elephant is depicted with an upward-curving trunk and incised detailing to define ears, tails, and skin folds. Faux bone tusks are inset into each head. The base is lacquered in a dark finish and decorated with an inlaid geometric honeycomb pattern. The base structure includes three arched cutouts beneath the elephants, forming a bridge-like composition.

Dimensions: 14.5"L x 2"W x 4.25"H

Condition: Age related wear. As is. Missing "tusks" and some elephants loose on base.
