Edo period, 18th-19th. century bronze champleve enamel vase with polychrome decorations. Height: 10" The vase has 2 handles in shape of mythological animal. 2 panels of champleve enamel are decorating the vase. The lower panel features flying bats, while the upper panel features floral enamel decorations by champleve cloisonne technique. Between the panels, the bronze has low relief continuous key decorations exhibiting a beautiful gray patina. The vase dates to 18th.-19th century and is in perfect condition. Height: 10" (25.5 cm.). Estimated value: $2000.
