Now available is this beautiful antique two-piece parlor set that includes a settee and matching chair. We are not sure what type of wood the set is made of, but it does have a rich medium brown finish. Each piece features a wonderful acorn, leaf and scroll carving, and a nice rounded back and arms. The legs are on what appears to be the original wooden rollers. They are upholstered in a burgundy velvet and edged with a matching burgundy trim. The fabric is faded in spots and there are several stains on the seats, which we have shown in the photographs. The settee measures 35 3/4" in height, 48" from side to side, 21" from front to back, and weighs 36 pounds. The chair is 36 7/8" in height, 28 1/2" from side to side, 20 3/4" from front to back, and weighs 26 pounds. Total weight for the set is 62 pounds. Sorry but we do not know the exact age of these pieces. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested. And if you have any questions please contact us by email or telephone before you purchase the item. Please view our Terms of Sale and Shipping policy. We only ship to the continental U.S. We do have a retail store and there are times the item may be sold through our store. We try to remove items immediately or the next day at the latest. Mixup's are bound to occur and if this happens we apologize for the confusion
