<td width="100%">
Wonderful antique tea service in excellent condition except one very small chip on the pot about the size
of the heads of four small pins. The teapot is
six inches tall by nine inches across. The sugar shell with lid is four inches tall and six inches across with a teeny tiny chip on the side at the
bottom so it is not really noticeable. The creamer is about four inches tall and 4.5 inches across. The dessert plates, which can double as
salad plates, are eight inches in diameter. All
the gold trim is intact and the translucent colors
are vibrant. The plates have been lightly used
but due to the translucence, which reminds me of
Australian opals, these light marks are not really
something that you would notice. Stamped Germany
on the bottom, there is no maker's mark. These
may be handpainted as they look like so but I do
not want to say for sure. A very nice set, complete enough to use when entertaining and you
want to make a good impression on your guests.
The handles are navy blue and on the sides, the
blue is powder blue. The floral motif is pink
flowers with blue flowers and green leaves. The
background for the floral design is a mellow, sedated yellow. Look at the picture and you will
instantly see how charming this tea servie is.
Satisfactin guaranteed.
