<B>Antebellum Large and Colorful Steam Locomotive-Illustrated Dry Goods Broadside.</B></I> "New Fall & Winter Goods in Green Castle" reads the bold headline in red and black. The dry goods dealer Prather & Kreps announces that they are receiving new goods in many categories from Eastern cities and that "Their Motto is Quick Sales and Small Profits." The location of the store is almost certainly Greencastle, Pennsylvania as this poster was printed by Duross in Philadelphia. Dated October 1859, this handsome display item is framed (no mat) to an overall size of 25" x 29".
