<B>Antebellum Estate Inventory Itemizing Slaves.</B></I> Manuscript document, "<I>A list of my negroes</B></I>", one page, 7.5" x 9.75", n.p., n.d. Thirty-four named slaves are noted here with ages ranging from 2 months to seventy-five years. Most of these individuals have commonplace names; however, a forty year-old of unknown gender is identified as "<I>Anarchy</B></I>"! A piano, $6000 cash, a watch, a carriage, a buggy, and some silver plate augment the $9200 value placed upon the slaves. Browning, two stains, and a small area of paper loss along the right edge.
