CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. The auctioneer has the sole right to withdraw any lot without notice, refuse any bid, to regulate the bidding in all aspects, and to settle any dispute between bidders.
2. Lots purchased through e-Bay Live Auctions, where the premium will be 17 ½%
3. Descriptions of lots offered in this catalog are believed to be accurate and in keeping with booksellers general practices. Minor blemishes such as neat name or signatures on endpapers, prices clipped from dust jackets, and/or neat bookplates on endpapers have generally not been noted. If this is of concern, bidders should examine lots personally, or ask for details by telephone, fax or e-mail. We will be happy to provide a more detailed description.
4. All books have been collated and are believed to be complete in text and illustration unless otherwise stated in this catalog. However, if after delivery to purchaser, any lot proves to be defective as to completeness of text or illustration, that lot may be returned and the purchase price will be refunded. Any such return must be done within 10 calendar days of receipt by the purchaser, and immediate notification of such return must be made to Discovery Book Auctions by telephone, fax or e-mail. No returns will be accepted nor refunds made for lots returned more than 10 days after receipt.
<Br>5. No lot will be delivered to the purchaser until paid for in full, including packing and shipping charges if applicable, and all lots remain the property of the consignor until paid for in full.

7. Estimates are offered only as an educated opinion as to the likely range in which the lot may sell. Final bids may exceed the high estimate, but no lot will be sold below the reserve. The reserve is a confidential figure agreed to between the consignor & Discovery Book Auctions, but in no case is higher than the low estimate given.
8. Sale prices realized will be posted on our web site following the day of the sale. Pro-forma invoices will be sent to successful bidders via fax, e-mail or air post within 72 hours and are due immediately. Any invoice not paid in full by September 30th will be canceled.
