Austrian composer (1794–1868) who was friends with both Beethoven and Schubert. Handwritten musical manuscript, six musically-lined pages, 13 x 10, titled and signed on the front page in German (translated), "Festive Song. For a programmed solo voice, accompanied by a choir and by pianoforte. By Anselm Huttenbrenner, 1852." Huttenbrenner pens the music and lyrics to the song in 47 four-stave bars. In very good condition, with a central vertical fold, scattered toning and soiling, partial separation to the hinge, a few small tears (one repaired with tape), and a brief printed biography affixed to the front page.
