Welcome to our Annual Father’s Day Auction! This auction will feature RJ Horner furniture from the estate of Cecil F. Elmes, who was Chicago Manager of Sanderson & Porter Engineers. He was involved in designing, constructing, managing, and financing public utilities and railways, and economic research in the early 1920's. He was also the nephew of William Burke Cochran, who was in the House of Representatives for over 20 years and started the Irish/American Historical Society. Cecil F. Elmes published many papers on legal matters, engineering and rate setting, he was both a lawyer and engineer. He also wrote fiction books under a pseudonym.
