Otto Frank was the father of diarist Anne Frank and the only member of his family to survive the concentration camps. Miep Gies was one of the people who helped to hide Anne Frank’s family. She also found Anne’s diary and gave it to Otto Frank after the war, when it became clear that Anne had not survived the Holocaust. Two items: FDC with a cachet honoring Dwight D. Eisenhower, signed in blue ballpoint, “Otto Frank”; and a Netherlands FDC with a cachet of the building where Anne Frank and her family hid during World War II, signed in black felt tip, “Miep Gies.” In overall fine condition.
