Beautiful Anna Pottery Albany glazed bean pot incised Mrs Wm Corlis/Anna Ill/1892. William N. Corlis was born 5 Jan 1854, in Brooksville, Ky., the son of Dr. George and Maria (Rice) Corlis. His parents died when he was quite young and he came to Anna in 1869. He had a mercantile business later owned by T. N. Perrine. He was in the commission business at Anna, buying fruits and vegetables. He married on 11 Jul 1888, Margaret Burns whom this bean pot was made for. H 6 1/2" W 7 1/2" D 5 1/2"

Condition: The bean pot is in very fine condition with professional restoration to the top rim and lid having been done. Writer has never seen another one like this!
