c1900 This lot contains two black and white RPCs featuring the brand name Anheuser Busch. Included is a parade float, pulled by the iconic Clydesdales during a parade in San Francisco. The second is of the Hotel Western in Tracy, California with an ad for Busch on the front of the building. Cards are a bit faded, but very readable. This is an ad post card from the San Diego Consolidated Brewing Company, with the catchy slogan “One of the real things which is making San Diego famous.” It’s address to resident of Hartford, Conn. Also included in the lot is a cabinet portrait of the City Brewing Building on 5th and E Streets in San Diego. Both pieces are in good condition. Also included are 4 paper items. 1) & 2) Are both bills or receipts for a W.A. Freman from “Roll, Kenison & Co. Manufactures of Carbonized Beverages. Soda Water, Ginger Ale, Seltzer Water, Celery and iron, Orange and Birch Beer. Agents for Mt. Shasta Mineral Water, sarsaparilla and Iron and Ginger Ale; Buffalo Brewing Co., Sacramento and Union Ice Co.” The dates are February and November 1, 1893 and both measures 8.55” x 6.75” and has some minor wear. 3) Is a bill from A.W. Kenison Co. “Wholesale Liquor Dealers, Bottles of Beer and Carbonated Beverages.” It was dated August 8, 1905 and issued to a Mr. Freeman. It measures 8.45” x 8” and has some wear. 4) Lastly there is a postcard entitled “Broad Street, Looking East.” The building for A.W. Kenison Co can be seen in the background in this postcard. It is dated May 17, 1913. It measures 8.40” x 3.40” and has little wear. - HKA#64696
