Andromeda (2000 - 2005) - Magog Alien Mask.
Made of latex and hair with braided sections, velcro closees in the back.
Original alien mask worn by a "Magog" in the production of the science fiction television series 'Andromeda' (2000 - 2005), based on unused material by Gene Roddenberry, developed by Robert Hewitt Wolfe, and produced by Roddenberry's widow, Majel Barrett.
It starred Kevin Sorbo as High Guard Captain Dylan Hunt. The series premiered on October 2, 2000, and ended on May 13, 2005.
The Magog were one of several key alien races featured in the 2000-2005 science fiction television series Andromeda. They first appeared in the pilot episode "Under the Night" in the form of Magog Wayist Rev Bem.
The Magog were a savage race of aliens whose diet consisted of eating living, organic beings. Any beings that they did not consume, they would kill and use them as nests, infesting the insides of their bodies with their eggs.
