His work is moving and always exciting—The painting I like best of mine is the one I am working on! Bless you for your interest.” He has added the postscript: “I am keeping the photo, my wife Betsy wants it. A—” According to the consignor, he sent Wyeth a photo asking him to sign it, but as noted, the artist’s wife opted to keep it for herself. In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, postmarked January 19, 1989, and addressed by Wyeth in an artistically elaborate fashion.
