Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 8 x 10, June 23, 1868. President Johnson orders the Secretary of State to affix the seal of the United States to “a Warrant for the pardon of George W. Wallingford.” Document is archivally sleeved in acid-free Mylar. In fine condition, with horizontal fold directly under signature, a few edge dings, and some scattered light toning. Accompanied by a full original ticket to the May 9, 1868 Senate Impeachment prodeedings, 5 x 3, signed by Sergeant At Arms, George Brown. Ticket is also is archivally sleeved in acid-free Mylar, with the stub detached, but present. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
