Andrew Jackson document signed as President, dated 26 February 1830. Military document appoints a Seraphim Masi as 1st Lieutenant to the District of Columbia Militia, and bears a blind stamped United States seal to lower left corner. Excellent large, bold, clear and underlined signature, ''Andrew Jackson'' at document's conclusion. 16'' x 10.25'' document folded in sixths with separation along folds, though archivally repaired on verso. Chips along folds and light spotting to lower right corner. Fair to good condition.
