Indo-Greek Coinage, Menander I (c. 155-130 BCE) – Silver Tetradrachm, weighing 9.40g. Obv: featuring a diademed bust of Menander I wearing a scaled Boiotian helmet, facing right. Rev: Maharajasa tratarasa Menamdrasa (of Great King Menander the Savior), depicting Athena Promachos standing left, holding a thunderbolt and a shield. Monograms appear to the left and right. The coin was likely minted in the Paropamisadai or Gandhara region. Cataloged
