Archaic Punch-Marked Coinage from the Magadha Janapada, Nanda Dynasty (c. 343-321 BCE) – Silver Karshapana, weighing 3.40g. The obverse showcases five distinct punches: 1. A six-armed symbol, 2. The sun, 3. A six-arched hill, 4. A wavy line with two inward-facing fishes at the angles, 5. Two fish side by side in a rectangle, fins touch. This coin belongs to Series IVa of P.L. Gupta and T.R.
