North-Western Malwa- Mandasor- Dashapur region, Uninscribed, Punch Marked Copper, 4.08g, Uniface, Obverse bears two neatly executed rectangular punches, 1. Bull standing facing right, triangle-headed standard to right, small taurines above the hump and below the belly, 2. Elephant marching to right, treskelis below the mouth and Nandipada above the back (Unpublished in major publications. Very fine+, extremely rare.
The coins from this artistically executed series are known in two denominations, with two or four punches. This is the smaller denomination.
