Eastern Zhou dynasty jade carving in shape of man riding the legendary, ferocious Bi Hsieh. The man caries a jade container that has a miniature phoo lion as handle. This vessel has handles with carved in rings of miniature proportions. This jade carving is intact and a masterwork of jade carving in celadon jade and featured in the textbook: "Jade, 5000 BC to 1912 AD" whose author is the owner of Objets D'Art Uniques (figure 10/17).
