Maker: Unknown. Approx. Age: See additional info. Size: 6.5” wide x 3.5” deep. Condition: Fair for its age. Additional Info: The Seller purchased this basket several years ago at auction and it was sold as a prehistoric, “cave find” basket from New Mexico. Several basket experts have viewed this basket (or at least pictures of it) and all agree it is ancient (or at least very old). It could be historic or prehistoric (anywhere from 200 - 1000 years old). Most agree it is probably Pueblo, or at least Southwestern in origin. It’s being sold with this basic info and nothing more, a great research project. Please look closely at the pictures - they are an important part of our description. Shipping: There will be a $5 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot. The actual cost of postage will be added on top of that.
