Excavated in Argao, Cebu, Philippines, this is unusually wide and triple-grooved. Some strong burial encrustation still adheres and it is 2-1/4" I.D. Probably put on a young female tribal Princess - and never removed. Rare type, museum-quality, and pre-contact (before 1521..... but likely before 1000 AD).
