This is a nice collection of 89 artifacts from the Plateau and Plains Native American Indians and having a Paleo Ancient Age. The collection includes such wonderful points as Northern Side Notch, Buffalo Gap Side Notch, Buck Taylor Notched (aka Red Horn Myers), Desert Side Notch, Abiquiu Side Notch, Hells Canyon Basal Notch, small Haskett, Humboldt or Clovis Tulare Lake, Cascade, and Mescal Knife. These were used as bird points, knives, scrappers, tools, projectiles and more. Also include is an old stone bead at the center and bone bead above that. Provenance: From a multi-generation artifact collection spanning 80-100 years from Las Cruzes, New Mexico. The collection is displayed in a vintage oak trimmed glass topped display case with brass locks. These points date anywhere from as old as the Haskett which dates to 10,500-9,350 B.P. to the Buffalo Gap dating to 550-350 B.P. The oak display case measures 24" wide by 18 1/4" wide and 2" tall.
