Included in this lot we have a collection of three ancient Native American stone tool heads. The collection consists of a stone hammer or war club head, a pestle, and a mono. The hammer shows a groove running around the center of the head to allow it to attach to a handle. It shows basic large hammer like shape with some chips in the stone. The pestle shows a round end with a flared handle allowing for easier use. The pestle is a tool used with a mortar to grind materials to a dust or past Lastly we have the mono which is a rectangular block of stone that was used to grind food, particularly grain for cooking. The collection shows good condition with some wear and chipping in places. The hammer measures 5 1/2" long by 3 1/2" wide and 4 1/2" tall, the pestle measures 8 3/4" long by 1 1/4" diameter at the head with the handle measuring 4 1/4" wide by 1 3/4" thick, and the mono measures10 3/4" long by 4" wide and 2 1/4" thick.
