Vishnukundin-style coinage from Northern Maharashtra/Vidarbha, 'bull' type coin in alloyed copper attributed to a local Rashtrakuta dynasty, (600-800 AD), 4.99g. Obv: Bull facing left in a circle, Brahmi letter Shri near its hump. Rev: Kalasha (vase of plenty) placed on a pedestal between two lamp-posts in a rayed circle.
