Satavahanas, silver 'portrait' type drachm of Vasithiputa Siri Pulumavi (c.85-125 AD), MCSI 146, 2.56g. Obv: Bust of king in profile to right, wearing curly hair and heavy ear-ornaments; Brahmi legend Raño Vasithiputasa Siri Pulumavisa around (double impression on the portrait due to slippage of the die). Rev: Satavahana dynastic emblem composed of six arched hill topped by crescent, modified 'Ujjain' symbol, wavy line, Sun and crescent moon; Southern Brahmi legend Arahanaku Vahittimakanaku Tiru Pulumaviku around; centrally struck with full legend visible.
