Eastern Chalukyas - alloyed copper coin attributed to Vishnuvardhana I alias Vishamasiddhi (624-641 AD), unpublished in major sources, 1.54g. Obv: roaring lion facing right, Shrivatsa to right; Brahmi legend Vishama Siddhi above. Rev: royal umbrella (chhatra) between two lamp posts, within a rayed circle.

Extremely fine, Rare.

This is a highly unusual and probably unique coin of Vishama Siddhi with a royal umbrella on reverse. Most of his coins bear a Shrivatsa.
