Archaic silver punch-marked coin, Tapi-Wainganga Valley region, usually attributed to 'Vidarbha/Ashmaka Janapada', ½ Karshapana, ABBC configuration, (400-350 BC), not listed in Rajgor, 1.68g. Obv: Four punches: 1x elephant facing left, 2x four-petal flowers and crescents, 1x two large semicircles enclosing an annulet each. Rev: Traces of an undertype.

Very fine, Very rare.

The fourth symbol of the obverse (two semicircles) is noticed for the first time in this series.
