Ancient India: Archaic silver punch-marked coin - Bihar series, generally attributed to 'Magadha Janapada' of pre-imperial period, (c.450-400 BC), struck to Vimshatika standard, Rajgor Series 10, 5.37g. Obv: Four punches - 1. Sun, 2. Six-armed symbol (in centre), 3. Crescent, 4. Sacrificial spoon; other smaller marks around. Rev: Minor 'banker's marks'.
