The above listed item is from the New Kingdom Period,18th Dynasty(1453-1419 B.C.E.). This "Head of Amenhotep II" is carved from Red Granite. This piece is intact and has age wear.

"Amenhotep II"
Amenhotep II was very athletic in his youth and estblished himself in the military field at an early age. He rose to Pharaoh after the death of Tuthmosis III. Like Tuthmosis III he was known for his ruthless military campaigns. He maintained and expanded the Egyptian territories. He is best known for capturing of seven Syrian princes, bringing them back to Egypt and then sacrificing them at the Temple of Karnak by smiting them himself with his royal macehead
