This is a rare original Anasazi Pueblo Native American Indian pottery double handled Olla. The piece shows a largely covered fire cloud area and the iconic black on white geometric painted designs. The piece has two applied handles on opposite sides and a narrow opening. Anaasází, meaning "Ancient Ones" or "Ancient Enemies" flourished in the 12th to 13th century, when this piece is believed to be from. Unklike most examples found, this piece is entirely in original fine condition with no cracks, chips or breaks (original condition with no restoration). Very rare important piece of pottery.
