A small Anasazi Chaco jar, Ca. 900 - 1075 A.D. - This small jar was possibly made by a child that was learning the art. She would have painted what she saw, as the design around the top resembles the Anasazi ladders that were used to access rooms. This jar has a very well defined "Chaco dimple" on the bottom, a classic Chaco feature. The piece was also well used, as there is a very definite wear pattern at the rim. 3-1/4" by 3".
