An original black and white wash by Charlie Russell measuring approx. 5 1/2” X 9” showing two antelope hunters with their Winchester rifles flagging antelope, an antelope busting through bullet hole in left corner, landscape in background which appears to be Montana or Wyoming and the cowboys’ horses tethered in rear portion of photo. The condition is good with some slight staining and spotting; at least very good overall. Provenance: One of a group of sketches sent to “Pony Bill” by Charlie Russell. See “Charles M. Russell - Word Painter” by Brian W. Dippie, page 18 where it is featured and discussed. Est.: $25,000-$40,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
