An important antique French lady's desk with marble top. The shaped top inlaid in a checker board pattern with various coloured marbles within a black border. Apron with a drawer mounted with floral garlands. Raised on gilt bronze legs cast with female busts. Scroll stretcher mounted with a central bronze basket. 36" wide, 21 1/2" deep, 32" high.
