An exceptional antique French Louis XVI style vitrine cabinet in the manner of Charles Cressent. Of break front design, the large central door with matched veneer work, mounted with classical figural motives and framed by ormolu wreaths and ribbons. Sides with two vitrine compartments with bevelled glass doors and glass shelves, mottled beige marble top. Raised on tapered feet with ormolu thimble sabots. 53" long, 14 1/2" wide, 63" high. Circa 1880.
