An early Victorian rosewood veneered chiffonier having an applied foliate scrolling pediment to the shaped back with shallow shelf beneath with scroll supports, having a well figured rectangular top with moulded edge above one long serpentine drawer and with a pair of panelled cupboard doors below with applied foliate scrolling framework and flanked by foliate carved corbals and enclosing shelves with plinth base beneath. Height 59ins., width 45ins., depth 19ins. (see illustration)
