An early George III giltwood rectangular side table, circa 1760, the trellised specimen marble top on a white marble ground with a flowerhead carved and moulded border, the base with a stiff leaf and bead bordered frieze with anthemion, 'S' scrolls and husks, above carved and pierced swags centred with an oval portrait medallion of a Roman Emperor, on six square tapering legs headed by palmettes in laurel wreaths, the legs with garrya swags hung from roundels, on block feet, 89 high x 70.5 deep x 169cm wide
