An early 19th century oak and mahogany longcase clock having a swans neck pediment above the 14ins. arched painted dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary date hand with church scene to the arch with fan painted spandrels with thirty hour movement by Anthony Simpson, Cockermouth flanked by fluted columns with stepped reeded cornice below and reeded collar above the short shaped trunk door with mahogany crossbanding and cockbeading to the door front flanked on either side by short quarter column corners with cluster column bases with boxwood strung panel beneath and with conforming base. Height 88ins.
