An early 19th century mahogany veneered longcase clock having a swans neck pediment above the glazed door enclosing the 14ins. arched painted dial with moonphase and eight day striking movement with subsidiary date and seconds hands, the painted spandrels emblematic of the continents, flanked on either side by turned columns and with short triple arched trunk door with bone escutcheon flanked by further turned columns with conforming base with canted corners with boxwood and ebony strung decoration and raised on ogee bracket feet.
