An early 19th century black-printed pearlware teapot and cover, of oval shape with "D" handle and cover with simple loop knop, with blue lining to the rim, spout and knop, printed on either side with a chinoiserie scene featuring an ornate pagoda and a prominent "apple" tree, and with a border of geometric panels and scrolls around the shoulder and cover, overall length 27cm, unmarked, circa 1800-10 (some minor chipping and glaze flaking)
