An early 19th Century flintlock blunderbuss, half octagonal damascus barrel leading to the bell mouth, surmounted by a trefoil sprung bayonet, the lock edge engraved and "Griffin", makers mark, rain proof pan, swan neck cock, steel furniture, the trigger guard foliage engraved with "104" in panel, walnut stock with chequered wrist and white metal escutcheons, finish remaining on barrel, lock re-finished with some pitting, overall length 76.5cm 30 inches.
