An early 19th Century 8 day Longcase Clock, Jas Scott of Selkirk, the square hood with overhanging cornice to an arched door flanked by gilt metal mounted Corinthian columns, over a long arched trunk door and plinth base (later carved), the 13" dial with painted rural cottage scene in the arch and floral spandrels to a Roman chapter ring enclosing subsidiary seconds and date sector with pierced hands to a four pillar movement with anchor escapement and strike on a bell (associated), height 85"
