An antique French cast iron jardiniere by Val d'Osne. The monumental vessel with scalloped body, twin ring lion mask handles, raised on a square pedestal base with relief details. With foundry mark. Jardiniere 26", pedestal 45" high. The fondeur Val d'Osne cast a number of works by prominent 19th century French sculptors including those by Moreau. Ref.
